The front strut mount reinforcements have been specially developed by RS-Ultimate for the BMW E36. Their main task is to reinforce and stiffen the components that bear the greatest loads during the operation of the front suspension.
The components effectively stiffen the system between the front strut towers and the front fender liners. The use of these reinforcements eliminates the so-called "floating," which improves the handling characteristics of this car model. Additionally, it prevents permanent deformations of the strut tower itself when driving over rough terrain. The unique shape and perforations give the reinforcements a distinctive character, and the applied bends allow for the transfer of much larger loads.
The installation is carried out without additional modifications to the original body elements, while also allowing easy access to the wiring harness on both the left and right sides of the vehicle.
This product is intended for vehicles that, due to the passage of time, require repair or reconstruction of the original mount. Additionally, the reinforcements are also used for tuning purposes to prevent damage during intense usage with a sporty driving style or during competitions such as: Drift, KJS, 1/4 mile, Time Attack, etc.
The components have been made using CNC numerical machines, ensuring the highest quality and production repeatability. Additionally, they have been protected with anti-corrosion wax.
