The washers allow you to shift the factory steering gear's steering limit by an additional few percent, so that the steering bar can get a larger swing angle and extend the steering rod more. Spacers are designed to be 100% safe for the gears.
This is the cheapest, fastest and easiest way to improve your BMW's turning radius. Spacers are necessary for any modification that increases the turn.
The washers were made with the use of numerical CNC machine tools, which guarantees the highest quality of workmanship. Subsequently, they were electro-galvanized, thanks to which they are resistant to corrosion and various weather conditions.
Spacers increasing the turn should be installed between the internal thread of the toothed rack of the mangle and the actual steering rod, the "Apple".
